Viva Mariachi Festival
Napa Valley is home to a wonderful community right. Napa Valley College is a local college that excels in academics while offering a wide variety of entertaining events. This April, stop by Napa Valley College for their annual Viva Mariachi Festival. This local event is a cherished tradition that celebrates culture and the spirit of community, music, and education. The Viva Mariachi Festival helps attendees learn about the musical traditions and student success of the area. This year’s Viva Mariachi Festival will feature several mariachi groups including Mariachi Luz de Oro, Mariachi Aztlan, and Mariachi Las Mariposas. These award-winning groups hail from all over the Southwest and are ready to prepare a dazzling concert series on April 12th. You can enjoy a matinee concert at 2:00 PM or the evening concert at 7:00 PM. Tickets are available now for purchase and can be acquired through Napa Valley College.
Streamfest
In today’s technological era, it is now easier than ever to provide content to millions of people all over the world. The level of social media and streaming has made it easier to provide a new landscape for films to the masses. This year, come join the fun over at Streamfest, taking place in Napa Valley this April. This festival will be pioneering a new way to provide a traditional film festival that is designed in the way individuals consume content. Shared experiences and human connection will be the theme of this in person invite that focuses on streaming all over the world.
This multiday event will focus on podcasts, series, films, and online content along with hosting special events at local wineries and restaurants. The event kicks off on Thursday April 24th for a pre-reception and opening night entertainment and conversations with NBA legends and content producers. Festival pass holders will be able to enjoy all of the wonderful activities taking place on Friday and Saturday that include live podcasts, short films, pilot episodes of upcoming hit shows, documentaries, and an awards show. Session breaks throughout the day encourage attendees to go check out the local culinary and winery scene in Downtown Napa Valley before the activities continue. Passes are now on sale for Streamfest. If you are a content producer and big name in streaming content, this is the festival for you!
Napa Spring Half Marathon
Not all vacations focus on sitting back. Runners always look forward to their next race, especially if you can find one in a beautiful setting. That is where the Napa Spring Half Marathon comes into play. This annual event returns once again this spring where you can enjoy a 5K or half marathon race with beautiful Napa Valley as the backdrop. This is a USATF certified half marathon, so all semiprofessional and amateur runners are highly encouraged to join. You will have sprawling hills of vineyards in the background as you complete the race in our beautiful spring weather. Both races will finish at Oxbow Commons Park, so you can meet your fellow races after you finish. Registration is already open for this year’s Napa Spring Half Marathon & 5K that will take place on Sunday April 27th.
Napa Valley Hot Rods Cars n Coffee
Want to see some vintage hot rods while enjoying your morning cup of coffee? If so, head on over to a local-favorite coffee shop, brewed. Napa, for their monthly Hot Rods Cars n Coffee event. From 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM you will find locals bringing out their cherished vintage cars to show off in the parking lot. Grab a coffee or espresso from brewed Napa before you explore the cars being shown off. The April edition of this monthly event will take place on Sunday, April 13th, just in time for your visit to Napa Valley.
